The Bloomington Bros. is the comedy team of Matt Houchin and Ross McNamara.
ROSS MCNAMARA: Besides his work on The Bloomington Brothers, Ross wrote and directed the feature film Cold Feet as well as the short film “Wisconsin Gas.” He has edited and directed projects for FunnyOrDie as well. He lives and eats in Chicago.

MATT HOUCHIN: Outside of the Bloomington Bros, Houchin regularly performs improv and produces his own video sketches. He has also found success behind the camera, producing a feature length documentary King of the Road, as well as two nationally syndicated sports magazine TV shows. He can also be seen in the role of Hunter Stevens in McNamara’s feature-length film debut Cold Feet. Houchin currently lives in North America.

FEATURED PLAYERS: The following are friends of the Bloomington Bros. who have popped up in several sketches.
DOUG NEITHERCOTT: Being from Apple Valley, MN, Doug always found Bloomington to be mysterious and scary (most things north of the river are), that was until he met the Bloomington Bros and realized that Blooomington is neither of those things…in fact, it is the total opposite. While happy to be part of the Bloomngton Bros web series, Doug takes far more pride in his legit theater work with the Children’s Theater Company and Youth Performance Company…not to mention his 15 year tenure with ComedySportz Twin CIties. Doug now resides in Maplewood, MN…where art goes to die. He has appeared in the sketches “Habitat for Humanity” and “Parade of Lights 2.”

DAMIAN JOHNSON: An improviser and actor since 1999, Damian has studied in college and at the Brave New Workshop and at iO Chicago and in his bedroom. He is a regular performer with Comedy Sportz and a co-founder of The Survivors of the Undead Plague and does theater stuff in lots of different kinds of places ranging from the Science Museum of Minnesota, to bowling alleys, to the middle of a random street, like with the Bloomington Bros. You should read his funny blog about words and watch his other videos. Damian has appeared as “Goggles Guy” in the Bloomington Bros. sketches “Pool Safety,” “Fat Nats Eggs,” and “Habitat for Humanity Part 3.”
TIM HELLENDRUNG: Originally from New Ulm, MN, Tim performs improv comedy all across the Twin Cities with ComedySportz Twin Cities, “Survivors of the Undead Plague” (an improvised zombie movie) and the “Gay/Straight Alliance” (along with Doug Neithercott, above). He has appeared as the character “Terri Nuessle” in the two most ‘artsy’ Bloomington Bros. sketches “RNC” and “Suburban Homeless Blues” where he was spotted by Hollywood producers and subsequently flown to L.A. for an audition. There was even someone at the airport holding a sign with his name on it. He also joined the Bloomington Bros. LIVE onstage at the 400 Bar where he brought the house down with his mad trombone skills.
HALSEY LINDQUIST is sexy.

i LOVE you guys! You are so funny, and have such a dry sense of humor! Please keep the videos coming, and God Bless You!
Thank you, Jane! Truly. And thanks for making your comment say “Jane Says” — one of the best songs ever.
Matt you are funny as hell and cute as hell.
I have to agree with Kurt from Sherman Oaks. Matt you are funny as hell and cute as hell. You too, Ross. Not going to lie, I’m kinda in love. Photograph was amazing and I make everyone watch it. Congrats, guys–your work is pretty sweet!
Awww….. thanks!!
Wicked happy I stumbled across you guys. Thanks for the laughs, I look forward to seeing what else you guys have in store!

Are you from Bloomington, IN? I love that place. Good school.
Nope. Bloomington, MN
Hey I really enjoy your videos. The driving safety one is my favorite so far. Are details about the TV show going to be posted here as it progresses?
I watched the outtake of the TV show that you posted on youtube, didn’t the girl behind the counter appear as a guest star on several episodes of Scrubs? (She was quite funny on it if it is the same actress)
Cheers,
Danny
You guys are my new favorite comedy duo online.
Ps-Half of my sorority thinks you guys are hott. Road trip to Michigan?
I’m from Edina, so..we live pretty close. Or used to, when we were all in Minnescrotum. I’m procrastinating writing a response to Antigone for my late class–I’m in the library so I can’t watch porn, or else I could probably kill 14 minutes doing that…maybe I’ll keep typing, but fuck this homeless guy smells. He’s probably 30 feet away and I still smell him. Public universities–I guess you guys didn’t have to deal with homeless in library, couple of fat cats at Northwestern. Why wasn’t it called Westnorthern? I’m going to create an institution when I have some money. Easteastern. State. I like the shorts, is Ross’ feature worth watching?
Matt and Ross,
I wish to give you my utmost thanks. About a week ago I was feeling down and stumbled across your videos. You two brought me from “Craptastic” to fantastic within minutes. I’ve watched all of your videos, and can’t wait to see more from you. You guys are amazing, and have a knack for improving someone’s day. Thanks again!
David

Hey Robert-
Thanks so much for writing! We do not know Dude Perfect unfortunately, nor do we know 1980′s and 90′s wrestling phenomenon Mr. Perfect (R.I.P.). Keep in touch and please spread the Bloomington Bros. love to your friends!
Matt, you used my 7th grade picture in the Nickleback song, and not the 8th grade picture.
I was seeking some eggs’ advice and happened upon your eggs sketch – very helpful (its currently on the FOD UK front page). Thank you.
